In 2009, the opportunity arose to study the link between music and emotional response in more detail.
In collaboration with Ross High School Tranent, East Lothian Council’s Arts Services and Edinburgh University’s Institute for Music in Human and Social Development, a six month Pilot Project allowed us to investigate the impact of an intensive music course on the emotional literacy scores of a group of S1 students.
