CPD
CPD opportunities are available offering Primary teachers creative ideas on how best to use music in the classroom to promote Emotional Literacy and develop Cross-curricular Learning.
These “hands-on”, practical sessions usually last for 2 hours and are designed to include all staff, regardless of their level of musical ability. The content of each session is adapted to respond to the needs of the participants, introducing the ideas and approaches used in the workshops and courses outlined in the Education section .
In the last 3 years I have delivered CPD courses for East Lothian, West Lothian, Midlothian, Stirling and East Renfrewshire Education authorities.
Music and Me
A special course of CPD has been developed to introduce and support Music and Me, offering practical suggestions on how best to use the resource in the classroom, as well as explaining the theory and research behind it.
